Mauritania and Gambia played to a barren draw in a friendly on Saturday (March 2nd) in Banjul, Maurifoot reported. The game was marked by the injury of Mourabitounes's captain Baghayogho Moussa, who was taken to the hospital, and the less serious injury of El Hacen Sidi.
The Mauritanian team was in Banjul since February 24th as part of their preparations for the World Cup and CHAN qualifiers. In another friendly last Thursday, they defeated Gambia 2-0.
